Meetings and events 2020
Coronavirus – all meetings and events scheduled have been suspended until further notice. We will update this page with more information as soon as we have it.
Most meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month starting at 7pm in the Tony Arter Room (TAR) at the Ripper Hall, High Street, Docking, unless otherwise stated.
Below are the meetings and events confirmed to date. We sometimes add or change meetings or events so It’s always a good idea to keep a regular check on our calendar. We hope you can find time to join us.
Entry to our talks and our annual exhibition is free for members. There is a charge for non-members, which will be shown below shortly before the event takes place.

Saturday 11th, 4pm: New Year party (Members only).
Saturday 8th, 2pm: AGM and committee meeting, Heritage Room and Meadow Court.
Wednesday 4th: General Planning meeting, Heritage Room.
Saturday 28th: 1950s Dance, Main Hall. Contact Paul Hewitt on 01485 518560 or Helena Aldis on 01485 518 659 for tickets. This event has had to be postponed to October 31st – we will honour all tickets sold. If anyone wishes to have a refund please contact us.
Wednesday 1st, 7pm: Visit to Hunstanton Heritage Centre.Cancelled.
Wednesday 6th: Talk by Stephen Pope, annexe.Cancelled
Wednesday 3rd, 6.30pm: Dr Paul Richards, tour of Hardwick Cemetery.Cancelled
Saturday 6th: Committee Meeting.Cancelled
Wednesday 1st: Looking at Archaeology, a talk by Mark Nicholson, Heritage Room.Cancelled

Saturday and Sunday 1st and 2nd: Community Dig weekend.
Saturday 8th, 4pm : Summer garden party.
Sunday 23th: 10am to 4pm, Main Hall: Waggs the Bakers Reunion
Wednesday 2nd: Quiz and walk around Kings Lynn with Mike Rogers.
Saturday 3rd: Committee Meeting.
Friday 9th: Gary Rossin -The Forgotten Fields of Norfolk – WW1 & WW2 Airfields, Main Hall.
Saturday 31st: Halloween Vintage Rock and Roll Dance, Main Hall. Tickets for the postponed event in March will be honoured – contact Paul Hewitt on 01485 518560 or Helena Aldis on 01485 518659 for tickets.
Wednesday 4th: General Meeting and Picture Quiz, annexe.
Friday 18th: Christmas meal (Members only).
