The Railway

Docking station and the West Norfolk Junction Railway

From 1866 to 1964 there was a station in Docking, which added to the prosperity and work prospects of the villagers. Although it’s no longer there the pub next to the old railway line is still called The Railway Inn, and the stationmaster’s house still exists as a private house, with part of the old platform in the garden.
